Optimizing the D2C Experience Across Regions
The newly formed D2C Global Commercial Optimization team focused on helping the brand's regional D2C teams optimize their D2C webshops. This involved aligning each region’s online store with the global campaign calendar, ensuring that promotions and new product launches were timely and synchronized globally. We also curated an optimal D2C product portfolio tailored to each market, helping regions deliver a selection that resonated locally while still supporting global objectives.
Strategic Pricing, Promotions, CRO and Digital Shelf Management
The Global D2C Commercial Optimization team worked closely with the Versuni global marketing and sales teams and local D2C ecommerce teams to guide D2C pricing and promotions, aligning each with the company’s IGM (Improved Gross Margin) and ISM (Incremental Sales Margin) KPIs. By activating products on time and managing the digital shelf effectively, we helped drive visibility and enhance the overall shopping experience. Additionally, we performed regular conversion rate optimization, fine-tuning the shopping journey to improve engagement and drive higher conversion rates.
Building and Leading a Global D2C Department
Neortus responsibilities extended beyond strategy to establishing and managing a robust D2C team. Neortus took on the role of team manager, setting up the department from the ground up. This included hiring skilled staff, developing job descriptions, and creating efficient ways of working that promoted collaboration across departments. We connected our new team with vital areas of the business, established strong working practices, and provided coaching and management to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.
